The Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City’s STEAM LAB welcomes Atlantic City area Kindergarden-8th graders to an exposure-ship in coding and robotics. Students will embark on Lego Mindstorm & Boost building adventures, Apple Swift Playground & Sphero robot coding voyages and more.

The STEAM Lab offers a rigorous curriculum aligned to the technology industry and will plant seeds of career oriented curiosity.

THE QUEST FOR THE ALPHA
The Bestie Track3r was created using the Lego Mindstorm EV3 core set and Apple iMovie.
Learning Objective: Students built a robot, create an original story and make a movie trailer presenting their story.
This project was in celebration of the NJ STEM Month.

Aldair Diego
STEAM Lead- Drone & Administration
Diego a native of Atlantic City, comes to the club sharing experience in graphic apprentice at Atlantic City High School. Aldair shares a love for robotics and graphic design. In addition, he his highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, all things Apple and is bilingual.
Morgan Mohammed
STEAM Program Assistant
Hi, I am Morgan Mohammed. I am a STEAM Program Assistant at the Drexel Club. My focus is on robotics, coding, and life science. I have been with the Boys and Girls Club for three years now. I recently received my bachelor’s degree from Rowan University in Biological Sciences. Currently, I am getting my master’s degree in Higher Education. I have a deep passion for science and exploration. As a team, we look forward to inspiring growth and knowledge in our youth!
Daniella Gomez
STEAM Program Assistant
Hello! My name is Daniella Gomez-Miranda, and I am a STEAM Program Assistant at the Chelsea and Drexel Club. I have a passion for the arts and aspire to educate our members in art history, along with inspiring them to tap into their creativity using multiple art mediums. I anticipate graduating from Stockton University in May of 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Childhood Studies. Naturally, I feel a responsibility to my community and have based my career goals around positively impacting any environment I am in. With the help of my incredible team, we hope to stimulate the minds of our youth and encourage them to be inventive.
