General description of the position: Responsible for providing case management services to BGCAC Teens. The Workforce Case Manager is also responsible for the WIOA In-School Youth application/enrollment process, ensuring that programs comply with grant requirements.
essential tasks & responsibilities
v Enrolls all teens serviced in Club’s Membership Tracking System.
v Provide Workforce Readiness Case Management and track mentoring updates.
v Works in collaboration with BGCAC Teen Center Staff and Partners to coordinate activities that are linked to career mentoring and internships.
v Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Educate and provide materials related to Workforce Development to members and parents.
v Maintain and update member files with progress notes as well as all Club required documents.
v Promote the program in the community and local schools by creating and participating in youth recruitment events.
v Completes any other task assigned by the Workforce Director or Penn Campus Senior Director. Develop and maintain relationships with the local school district and guidance counselors by scheduling monthly visits.
v Manage effectively, behaviors that are aligned with the club, grant compliance and health & safety protocols.
v Ensure that the daily operation complies with the requirements for a license Child Care Afterschool facility.
v Works closely with the Workforce Director to grow and solidify programming opportunities to through partnerships
v Implement programming club wide as assigned by the Workforce Director

v Identify problems and execute analysis using continues improvement methodologies to identify possible solutions.
Requirements
physical Demands: Requires standing and/or sitting on a regular basis. Ability to properly use computer software programs including Microsoft office suite, member tracking, and grant compliance systems. Ability to use computer equipment, fax, copy machine, calculator etc. Valid Driver’s License preferred.
Mental Demands: Ability to analyze problems, strategic planning, and Project management. Ability to manage problems with concrete variables, collect data and valid conclusions. Ability to read reports and apply concepts.
communication: Excellent written and verbal language skills that would aloud clear communication internally and externally. Bilingual a plus, prefer Spanish/English.
working conditions: Work in a normal Club environment which can vary if necessary. It requires transportation between different places.
Education and/or experience: BA IN SOCIAL SERVICES, EDUCATION OR COUNSELING FROM ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR 3 YEAR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
